This week was great. We had the elders over for
lunch after emailing last week. and they surprised us.... we invited
2... and 6 turned up! bah! we dont even have that many elders in this
area.. but we're women. we can make food stretch. and we know how to
feed hungry boys. lol. it was fun. weird though, to have so many
elders in our flat (though it mightve been weirder to have just two
there.) then we had an awesome lesson with a friend of the Sidhues.
she is sweet... but health problems right now, so we won't see her for a
couple weeks at least.
and we had a sister's exchange on wed. but sister Gr. wasn't feeling too great so it wasn't super productive....
other than an awesome lesson that sis Gr. and i taught that night.
the most amazing family. and the spirit was strong during that lesson.
i was really looking forward to seeing them on wednesday... but she
texted us and said she didn't need anymore visits cuz she already has a
church. :( but at least we left her with a book and shared the message
of the resotration with her. and the spirit. someday she'll look back
and remember that feeling and want it again.
thursday wasn't the most productive... cuz we ended
up getting our hair cut. sis javed's hair took ages. she has sooo much
hair. mine tok a little while. short layers. it looks super short if i
pull the long layers back (i sent a pic earlier....)
friday was planning. and we went out to do AUF
work. a member came with us and did some tracting with us after. we
found 4 potentials that day and taught several lessons. that was
awesome. working with members is always more effective... even if the
members don't know what they're doing. blessings. It snowed this
weekend....
and cancelled church. lol. it was only a
dusting reallying. and inch or two at most. it felt really weird to
miss church. :( sad. but then we had dinner with the sidhues again...
we've seen them alot this week.
I'm gonna be sad when i leave this area. 2 weeks. (i think) we shall see.
