So.... this week was transfers...
though you already knew that.... and guess what. I’ve been transferred again.
:(
And I’ve left Wales. :( I’m really
gonna miss it. But I hear Coventry is a promised land. And guess what
else. I’m in a 3-some. yup. Just like Lexi! And I’ve still not had an American
companion.
It’s a biking area, but they don’t
bike. So we're bussing everywhere. £50 per month. each. ew. the car was
cheaper. :S
It snowed last week. A lot. And
we were in the thick of it cuz we went to Merthyr. Sis. L. had to go to Birmingham
on Friday, so we went halfway and stayed with the Merthyr sisters on Thursday,
which was when the snow came. Roads were closed. They couldn't get to Birmingham.
We were gonna stay and work in their area, but when we tried to drive we got
stuck, and the rest of us had to get out and push. On a major road. She
drove it in reverse for 1/4 of a mile, and reversed through the roundabout to
get out. Good times. Only on snow days. Most of west Wales was
closed down for a couple days. Sis. L did not like being stuck there... she
just wanted to go home.
She was convinced that she'd be
leaving Newcastle... cuz she received a call last Monday to train a new sister
and one of us would definitely have to leave. I didn't even have a
guess as to who would leave. But I’m glad she could stay. She’s been
moved around so much already, and training while whitewashing can't be very
easy. I am jealous that she got to stay though. :( I’ll definitely
miss those people.
I’m excited for our “3”
companionship... though I think it may be tough. Sis. J. has only been
here for 6 weeks, half of which she was sick and in the flat. So she doesn't
really know the area and can’t read the map. So it looks like I’ll be in charge
of that again. The three of us are going to work on studying from the 12
weeks training program, cuz we know all of us will be training in the next
couple of transfers.
The four new sisters that came out
are from all over. Bolivia/London, Spain, Sweden and Ireland. The Irish sister
is 37! I bet she'll be awesome. I’m
excited to meet them all. I love sister missionaries.
