So this week was highlighted by.... E'S BAPTISM!!!!!!!!
so
last week was a bit worrisome... I told you how she had a bit of a
drinking problem the night before church... the night we were going to
teach her about the word of wisdom. but we cleared all that up. we had
a lesson with her at Lydia's and taught the law of Chastity and she
accepted it all and we were able to follow up with everything. I loved
hearing the excitement when she talked about her upcoming baptism. and
how she would share with us good verses she had come across in the the
book of Mormon. she is nearly finished with the first book of Nephi.
oh and!!!! we have a new family we are teaching... we
actually have 5 new investigator this week! we are excited. the family
is from Czech republic... so we are brushing up on our czech.... lol.
well. all I can say in Czech is 'God is our loving Heavenly Father' but
it's a start. we are actually hoping to get some leaflet in Czech and
teach them that way. Their adult son, knows enough English and
translated.
we are excited.....
and I just spent a lot of time downloading Mormon messages... now the elders are wanting to go. oops. sorry!!!!!!
but one last miracle!!!!!
so. An is her name. we knocked on her door and spoke for a
moment. then she let us in and we taught the message of the
restoration. she opened the book of Mormon randomly (said that is
something she does with the bible. and opened to Alma 9:17.... with
time you will believe his words. she said she had goosebumps.
