so. another week. this one felt long too. but it was pretty
good. we recieved a call from president on tuesday night telling us
that our third companion's plane would arrive the next morning. Sister
A. from Australia. :D so we had to cancel some plans and scrounge
up the money for the train fare (well it's the begining of the month so
we managed alright. )
i have never seen someone look so tired. wednesday must have been a
killer for her. we met up with her at two had an hour and a half of
training. and hour and a half on a train home, a quick shower and nap
for our dinner break and then back out cuz we had an appointment with
J.
it doesn't feel like i'm training any more. even though sis H has
only been out 8 weeks and sis A hasn't even been out a week. it's odd,
but i'm glad. the whole structure of trainig can be quite
overwhelming, but with these two, they just watch what i do, we come up
with ideas to use during study and we improvise as we go. i rarely have
to tell them what to do or the like. i have definitely been blessed.
i remember what it felt like to be a brand new missionary and i
feel like they are far better prepared than i was. i suppose that is
all an inner turmoil type thing and with time and experience we all get
better at it.
the first day with our three we ended up walking soooo much! like a
solid 6 hours. poor sister A has horrible blisters all over her
feet. she is not used to wearing shoes. flip-flops or bare feet. so
we're taking things slow.
we saw P again. she is very slow. she wants to know and feel
that God is in her life but she doesn't want to change anything. she
enjoys her life the way it is. we can't help her if she isn't willing to
change. but we commited her to read five minutes a day. that doesn't
take that long....
last night was exciting cuz we got to watch the worldwide
leadership training broadcast. it was great. a huge enphasis on
members working with friends and fmaily to invite them to church. it
doesn't have to be complicated.
well. i'm not really in the mood to go over everthing we did this
week. it was long, though it went quick. i have laughed quite a bit.
Sister H and A have both pledged alliegance to my flag this
week (i told them that that makes them official U.S citizens... which
really only means that they have to pay taxes now. lol.) on the 4th
sister H tried and tried to get the star spangled banner, but she is
rubbish at memorizing things. lol. then she tried to sing the
australian anthem. yup. that was a flop too. it is great to hear my
two sisters laughing so freely. so happy.
so yup. the little clock at the bottom ticked down way to fast.
dang it. but i know that next monday will come soooooo quickly... i've
lost track of how many pdays have already zipped by.....
i love you a lot! hope all is well with you! till next week... <3
