I'M STAYING IN NOTTINGHAM!!!!!! I'm so happy! 6 more weeks with
sister H.... though we've been informed that we will be getting a
third... a brand new missionary.... odd that she is coming out two
weeks after the transfer so our guess is that she will be 2nd lagnuage
learning... cuz the mtc stay is longer for them. I think she might
come this week, but we're not sure yet. exciting. :) i am excited
though it will be a bit overwhelming. 3s are hard... though definitely a
lot of fun. our flat is big enough. we have a third mattress already.
the fridge is way too tiny. only 2 computers at the library... only 2
desks... though we just learned from a member that we are getting a
couch! a 3-peice one even! not sure if we can even fit that much in!
lol. but we complained about not having one for weeks, so we'll take
this as an amazing blessing. lol.
J is still going strong, though we don't see him as much, we
don't really have the time to. and we are hoping to get the ward more
involved in fellowshipping him... it's just tough cuz he is so quiet,
but he is determined so he will continue to come regardless of whether
or not he has good solid friends here. Definitely elect!
And E is still strong on her baptismal date! I love her! And
it sounds like her husband is quite prepared too! A temple marriage!
we talked about eternal families and asked if that is something she
would want and she said that it made her want to get up and dance. she
says that she believes everything that we say and even gets excited when
she learns something new. she says she believes but just wants
conviction. wants conviction so that she can share it with others. ! It
is like the Gospel is catered to fit her every need - cuz you know what -
IT IS!!!!! For all of us! it's is crazy! But soo so true! :)
i'm gonna wear american flag earings on the 4th... other than that
it is just a work day. we might do something... sis. H wants to
do something since she has never celebrated it before (obviously...
she's British)
oh yeah. lol. We had our first official screamo lady. she was most definitely drunk and made quite the scene shouting at us. we weren't even at her door either. we knocked and she said no thank you (in not so many words) without even opening the door. so we walked away. then she came out ranting and raving. i think she is angry at God and decided to try and take it out on us. quite sad. though my heart was racing. we didn't even have the chance to say anythin.... just a constant stream of screaming coming from her. lol. what can you do. we just walked away and ignored her. Sister H wanted to try to get something in, but the lady just yelled louder and started pointing her finger in her face. ridiculous. so we left... i had to tug a bit on sis. H's arm. poor lady - but quite rude. she probably went back into her house and broke down crying.
but yeah. everyday is an adventure. and there is a first for everything. i love it. and yesterday was my 10 month mark. Crazy! only 8 months left. i'm not sure how i'll cope with normal life. of course i look forward to it; sleeping whenever, reading a good book, watching movies, hanging out with friends.... but it is so different than what i am use to now. i am gong to be in for a huge culture shock. bother.
but i still have time. bring on the next 8 months! they are gonna be great!
