Last Week of the Transfer, Most likely the Last week in Nottingham
Sad day. well i'm resigned to it. but my guess is that i'm
leaving Nottingham. thought that was my guess last transfer too. but
it makes even more sense now. sister A and H will manage
spectacularly here. I realize that even more after the week with sis
Gry. we split off every day and I was generally with her and sis H and
A were together - proving even more that they are amazing
missionaries. they have blessed me so much. I have learned so much
from them.
E is doing great. her birthday is on Thursday. and
she is watching her niece and nephew for a couple of weeks as well, so
she is busy. but she is coming out teaching with us tonight. :D she
wants to get out of the house.... which is great, because she is in
there all day every day - blinds closed. usually Daniel just watches
cartoons all day. she seemed
happy before, but now she is just glowing. seeing her at church every
week makes me smile :) after relief society yesterday she was singing
the closing song (after we were already finished) and said 'ooh I love
this song!' (it was Love at Home) I wish I had time (and a way) to make
something nice for her birthday. I would want to get her a beautiful
frame and a picture of the temple and the saviour in it (maybe the type
of frame where you put multiple pictures in it) and get her some nice
church music. she is the biggest reason I don't want to leave Notingham.
Though we do have a new investigator on a baptismal
date. he is elect.... though I don't know him near as well. Sister A
and H found him on Tuesday. he is looking for God, wants to know how to
pray and fast, and felt the spirit in their very first meeting. he is
only 16, but elect. we have him planned to be baptised on 18 august (a
day before his 17th birthday.... and then a year later!!!!! ... he could
go on a mission... which he actually asked about on sunday!) so there
is a lot to look forward to there. :D his name is Ptr. He came to
church on Sunday. He was
answering most of the questions in the gospel principles class. he told
us that he usually isn't very confident and rarely speaks up in front
of a lot of people... that he was rather surprised that he was
answering. we told him that the spirit makes us stronger and that God
wants him to overcome weaknesses.
I just need to get some new clothes. I am so sick
of the stuff I have... and I don't really have enough anyways... though
i'll prolly leave it all behind when I go home. why bother lugging it
all around. i'll be even more sick of it by then. lol.
and winter is coming. so. bring out the warm stuff again. whoot.
so.
I just sent an email to Mike (the Elder who Baptized you). with pictures of Jn's and E's
baptisms (and one of me knocking on a door... at the castle. lol) just
thanking him for everything he has done that had a ripple effect. it
is pretty amazing to think about it that way. from a past view point and
a future one as well... maybe Dn will serve a mission someday.
This life is great!
Anywho. I LOVE YOU!!!! Hope all is going great!
