so. this week was absolutely fabulous. so much happened. we saw
Daren 3 times in the hospital (now he is home.) he is an interesting
character. he likes us a lot and enjoys talking about the gospel with
us. he said the first day "good will come of this" yup. thats what we
think too. :) (more details in my 'journal which i sent today)
and we met a man named J on the bus. oh that was an experience.
cuz at first we were talking to this guy named simon.( totally stoned
and frisky). ew. he kept asking us the same things over and over... so
hopefully he doesn't even remember it) but as we were talking to him on
the bus another young man. clean and polite. asked about our church.
we gave him all the details and then pretended we had to take the next
stop.... simon was getting to close for comfort.
And J came to church on sunday!!!!!! said he really loved it.
we'll meet with him again this week and he said he'd go next week too.
the ward was soooo amazing at helping him feel at home. we didn't even
have to ask anyone or introduce him. they came to us! it felt so good
to know that we can trust the ward to take care of new people when we
bring them in. fabulous!!!!! we are very 'chuffed' (aka.... stoked, way
excited)
and i was asked to do the come unto Christ choir again. so fun...
but it was 2 hours away and they asked me to drive. interesting driving
back. once 1030 hit i was good for nothing. couldn't focus missed
turns. kinda scarey. but we made it to the sister's flat and crashed.
the next day i was still quite spacey. lol. we were both dead on Saturday.
well. i am just about out of time. sorry. but it was a fabulous week. we loved each moment :) especially Sunday :)
