I am loving this area (Wales). plus the sun has been making
more of an appearance. i have successfuly driven to and from several
appointments without the GPS and i have memorized the names of more than
half of the ward. it was an interesting week.
Monday night.... we were trying by potential and doing a
lot of great finding. some nice success. so we're on our way home...
and we hear it. music. coming from a traveling van. Sister Gr.
stops suddenly and grabs my arm. "can we?" ok. so we turn around and
run. we found it. a nice, loud italian man greets us. she says it was
the best ice cream she's had in a long while. i thought it tasted like
frozen whipped cream. lol.
Zone meeting made for a lot of driving. and we ended
up spending some time taking the elders to an appointment that was far
away. so we were in a beautiful town called Brecon for an hour.....
doing 'language study'.... well we actually just explored a large (old)
church and graveyard.... and pictures. the best language study...lol.
but we talked to eachother. so that counts as language study right? :D
and R. is one a date! we are super excited for him
:) it's next month. on his birthday actually. he is soo prepared. he
is 49. He understands everything we teach him and really
wants to follow the example of Jesus christ.
We are not training. Sister W. is somewhere else
in the EBM... cuz we had a sister go home. then another is leaving
today or tomorrow so Sister Gil. is soon joining us (she has been out
12 weeks... she was in this area before we white washed in even. should
be fun.... though i will always miss my one on one time with sis.
Gr. I LOVE HER ALOT! God has blessed me a ton with her :)
I am recovering... i think... from some weird bug. it
didn't keep me in the flat. but i felt yucky. heavy and off. and
queasy. it's not too bad right now... though my stomach is a bit sour.
God makes me strong enough to work, right? I know i know. i won't push
it. Sister Gr. wouldn't let me. we did come home early a couple
times this week. and early to bed.... and some nonesistant mornings
(falling asleep while stretching on the floor) Love every minute
though :)
Hope each of you is having a fabulous week! Feel
better mum!
Love you!
~Ashley
