A dear friend of ours fell and is in the hospital and I made a special request of the girls, with which they agreed, that our friend needed to hear from them than I needed to hear from them.  I wasn't expecting a letter from either of the girls, but they both managed to update me.  They type pretty fast ;-)

Ashley sent me the same letter she sent Alexis, which is great by me!  So, I will post the letter written to Alexis.

Hello!!!

 

I don't have a whole lot of time this week either. bother. p-days go too fast. and they come so fast again though.  it doesn't feel like all that long ago that it was last p-day.

 

so it sounds like your thanksgiving was fun... mom sent me a photocopy of your letter home.  sounds nice that you had the whole day to relax.  do you know what your plans are for christmas yet? it's on a tuesday right? our transfer day is the wednesday before... we're determined that neither of us are leaving. that would be aweful to leave 6 days before christmas :S 

 

We had a pretty great week.  We primarilly focused on finding.  We had a goal of starting conversations with 25 people... more than just saying 'hello' cuz we're both super good at that... and we talked to 33! and guess what!?  We taught 6 lessons! and we have 5 new investigators (though 2 of them prolly wont go anywhere... at least for a while.) the others are solid potential!  So excited! We have been blessed for our diligence! :)  We are going to teach a  lesson on Wednesday and she seemed super excited.  we'll see another investigator tomorrow.  she's the hardest - for me. Cuz she speaks Czech... and I don't... lol.  but sis M knows a bit of croatian which is similar to Czech.  I just sit there and nod. lol. i was trying to keep my phrases realy simple. the first thing i said ruined it all.  i was trying to ask how her day was.... ended up using the present perfect tense and said 'how has your day been going?'  ... yeah. oops.  t just came out of me that way.  now she just turns to sis. m immediatly for conversation... my english is too confusing.  i guess i'll try again tomorrow. :)

 

  we had a sister exchange on friday and saturday... do you have those?  the companionship from Newcastle Emelin came down.  We did a little of everything together.  taught a potential a lesson, saw a couple of LA, did some tracting, and some street contacting... even visited a member :)

 

how do you talk with everyone you see? do you just stop and ask them a question, say hello and hope they stop... chase them down and tackle them to the ground?

anyways. i'm about out of time... and i didn't get a chance to write mom... i wrote to a ward friend instead.  so i'm sending this to mom, even though it is geared to you...
